HERE you'll find an assortment of pages, links and resources which reflect some of my professional and personal activities and interests. A varied assortment, it simply grows as I find the time and interest to devote to it, so. . . visit often to see what's new.
r a t i o n a l e
The site's rationale is fourfold:
  • to provide my students with online access to my course materials;
  • to offer jump pages to Internet resources which students and visitors with like interests will find interesting and useful;
  • to provide visitors with links to my various Web development projects, and myself with a personal "workshop" for Web design techniques;
  • to offer anyone interested--and with, clearly, nothing better to do--a little information about me.
  • m y s t u d e n t s
    Students seeking information about my current and forthcoming courses should visit my course materials page. I try to post syllabuses, course calendars, reading lists, and other handouts in time for the start of each semester, but best to check back often to get updates. Students wondering whether or not I will accept a late assignment should consider augmenting their native creativity by visiting the new, improved Excuse Generator.

    These pages are best viewed using a late version of Netscape or Internet Explorer. I recommend that you set the resolution of your monitor to 800 x 600 or better, if possible, and your video card to display more than 256 colors. A sound card is necessary to hear the music.
